Quick How-To-Use Guide

• Vertical Jigging: Use a vertical rod lift to cause the lure to wobble upward, then drop the rod tip back down to create a critical, fluttering action on the fall where most strikes happen. In cold water, pause at the bottom of the drop for up to three seconds to connect with lethargic fish.

• Casting and Retrieving: Cast the lure and work it back through the water column using a slow pumping rod motion on a tight line, or speed-retrieve after a short count. Always use a high-quality ball-bearing swivel to prevent line twist.

• Trolling: Compatible with flat lining, planer boards, planers, and downriggers. Unlike traditional spoons, the Crippled Herring features a frantic action with a pronounced sideways kick that triggers heavy reaction strikes.
