The Pinnacle of High-Speed Star Drag Performance: Shimano Trinidad
For anglers who demand absolute perfection in a star drag conventional reel, the Shimano Trinidad A series represents the gold standard in casting distance, high-speed retrieves, and raw fish-fighting leverage. Built around an ultra-compact, cold-forged metal HAGANE Body and an ergonomic S-Compact Body frame, the Trinidad provides maximum structural rigidity with zero frame flex, fitting naturally in the palm of your hand during intense battles.
Engineered with Shimano’s X-Ship bearing-supported pinion gear and High Efficiency Gearing (HEG), the Trinidad delivers silky-smooth, effortless cranking power even under the heaviest drag loads. Its Super Free Spool system completely decouples the spool shaft during the cast, allowing you to launch heavy jigs and live baits maximum distances against stiff coastal winds. Combined with a robust Dartanium II Drag stack, this reel provides smooth, heat-resistant stopping power when big fish make sudden, high-speed runs.
