Heavy-Duty Bucktail Jigs Built for the Cape Cod Canal
When the tide starts screaming through the Cape Cod Canal, standard jigs simply won't hold bottom. Canal Tackle Bucktail Jigs are custom-engineered specifically to cut through punishing currents and stay down in the strike zone where giant Striped Bass and staging Tuna feed. Hand-tied and weighted for maximum castability and depth control, these are the ultimate go-to lures for surfcasters and boat anglers navigating New England's toughest waters.
Built with ultra-sharp, heavy-duty hooks and premium natural hair that maintains its profile under pressure, our bucktails give off the exact action and flash needed to mimic local baitfish like Atlantic Menhaden (Bunkers), Mackerel, and Squid. Whether you are bouncing the rocky bottom along the Canal or casting into rip tides off the Cape Cod coast, Canal Tackle bucktails deliver the durability required to haul in trophy-class fish trip after trip.
As a local, family-owned business, we craft gear we trust on our own boats and on the Canal rocks. Experience the difference of fishing purpose-built local tackle, backed by our commitment to exceptional service and fast, free shipping straight to your door.
