Get genuine gear and expert advice from Canal Bait and Tackle, your trusted local small business for surf-casting and saltwater fishing! Anglers across the country rely on our team's hands-on expertise to stock the exact heavy-duty lures that match bigger forage and hold up in punishing tides.
The Daiwa Salt Pro SP Minnow Sinking Lure (DSPM17S) delivers a larger profile and heavier payload designed for maximum casting distance and targeting larger predators in deep, moving water. Measuring 6-3/4 inches and weighing a solid 1 7/8 oz, this extra-large sinking minnow plug features a heavy-duty lip design that produces an aggressive, erratic side-to-side swimming action on a fast, ripping retrieve. Its slow-sinking action lets you reach target fish throughout the water column down to the bottom, while the internal weight transfer system punch through strong offshore or onshore headwinds.
