S&S Bucktails Rock Hopper Bucktail Jigs take the classic concept of the bucktail jig and elevates it for hard use. From the start, this jig uses a high quality and high strength hook that is perfectly capable of taming large fish and withstanding many more to come. A generous layering of bucktail hair is tied in and then its thread wraps are epoxied over for great durability, withstanding all the strikes, rocks, and everything else you can throw at it. Additional hackle integrated within the bucktail offers secondary motion and additional profile. An enlarged stainless-steel eyelet allows for easy attachment even with clips, along with more free movement for the jig to act as it naturally would. Large 3D eyes offer an extra dose of realism, keeping those weary eyed predators ready to strike.
