The Ball Bearing System allows the weight to transfer from front to back inside of the lure, but when in the water the weight spreads evenly to create an amazing action. The SP Minnow comes in many great colors but the most effective color schemes would have to be the Mackerel colors. You can cast it upstream or downstream this lure is deadly effective any way you fish it.

Great lures but…
These are great lures that hold up. I have several patterns in the sp minnow and typically always have one in my bag. The only reason for a one star drop is the hooks that come with it rust easily and will likely bend on a large fish. I generally replace the hooks and rings.
