Hogy 3.5" 2 oz Peanut Bunker Heavy Minnow Jig
Heavy-weight power meets the ultimate forage profile. When large predators like Striped Bass, Bluefish, False Albacore, and Bluefin Tuna are aggressively feeding on mature peanut bunker in heavy seas, strong currents, or deep water, lightweight lures just won't cut it. The Hogy 3.5" 2 oz Peanut Bunker Heavy Minnow Jig is engineered to deliver maximum casting distance and deep-water reach while perfectly imitating juvenile menhaden.
By fusing the wide, natural body profile of our famous Epoxy Jig™ Lures with a solid metal core and an intense HD holographic scale finish, this 2 oz jig cuts through heavy coastal winds and sinks quickly to where trophy fish are holding. Its dynamic flutter-fall action triggers violent reaction strikes whether cast into surface blitzes or worked vertically through the water column.
Key Features
-
Anatomical Peanut Bunker Profile: Deep-bodied 3.5" profile accurately matches juvenile menhaden, butterfish, and small herring.
-
Heavy-Density 2 oz Core: Solid metal construction punches through head-winds and allows deep-water presentation in fast-moving tides or rip currents.
-
Reflective HD Holographic Finish: Wrapped in a high-definition scale pattern with a prominent baitfish shoulder spot and imitative laser eye for maximum flash.
-
Irresistible Flutter-Fall Action: Engineered with a tapered shape that flutters tantalizingly on the drop to mimic a dying or disoriented baitfish.
-
Heavy-Duty Through-Wired Construction: Built around a continuous internal wire frame designed to hold up under extreme pressure from hard-fighting gamefish.
-
Pro-Grade Rigging: Pre-rigged with a heavy-duty stainless steel split ring and a razor-sharp 3/0 VMC 4X In-Line Single Hook for secure hookups and easy catch-and-release.

Pro Tip for Anglers
In deep rips or high winds, cast up-current and allow the 2 oz Peanut Bunker Jig to sink on a controlled slack line down to the bottom. As it drifts through the strike zone, use short, aggressive rod snaps followed by brief pauses to let the lure flutter in the current where big bass and tuna are ambushing bait!
