Hogy 3.5" 1.25 oz Sand Eel Heavy Minnow Jig

The ultimate slender-profile match for one of the ocean's most abundant forage species. When gamefish like Striped Bass, False Albacore, Bluefish, and Cod are turned onto sand eels, matching their sleek, narrow profile is critical to getting bit. The Hogy 3.5" 1.25 oz Sand Eel Heavy Minnow Jig combines the proven, natural body shape of our legendary Sand Eel Epoxy Jig™ Lures with a solid, heavy-metal core.

Weighing in at 1.25 oz, this slender jig cuts through headwinds with ease and drops quickly to the seabed where sand eels burrow and hide. Wrapped in a high-definition holographic scale finish, it produces an intense, natural flash while its fast-tapered shape delivers an erratic flutter on the drop that drives predatory fish wild.

Pro Tip for Anglers

When fish are keying on sand eels near the bottom, cast out, let the 1.25 oz jig hit the sand, and work it back with short, sharp rod twitches followed by quick drops. This replicates a sand eel darting out of the substrate and fleeing back down!
