Welcome to the Canal Bait and Tackle Customer Service page. Below you will find some frequently asked questions as well as some of our policies. How can I pay with my credit card?
It is simple all you have to do is select pay with PayPal, PayPal Express, or Google Checkout. After selecting one of these processors they will redirect you to their checkout process. You do not have to have an account with them; you can check out as a guest. We use these Credit Card Processors and payment methods because they are by far the most Secure and Safest Ways to process payments.
Why can’t I pay over the phone?
Unfortunately because of the High Trend of Credit Card Fraud we will not process Credit Cards over the phone any further. We have had too many instances with untruthful people. Again Canal Bait and Tackle Online only use PayPal, PayPal Express, Google Checkout, Amazon Simple Pay, Check, or Money Order.
Just remember all of us at Canal Bait and Tackle want the Checkout Process to be fast and as SAFE as possible.
Do I have to pay taxes?
There are no taxes collected for any interstate orders in the United States. Only Massachusetts residents have to pay Massachusetts Sales Tax.
Returns Policy
The buyer may return unopened items within 15 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of OUR error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within 2 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund within 1 week. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (1 to 7 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 3 business days)
If you need to return an item, simply give Jeff a call at 508-883-2996 or just click on "Contact" on the Homepage. Send an Email, stating you wish to return and Item and we will go from there.
Reel Returns
If you wish to return a reel, the box must be UNOPENED and the reel cannot be used. I will gladly refund any order, if it doesn't meet your standard. But, if you try returning a reel and I find that the reel box is OPENED and the reel is used there will be no refund.
