The Abu Garcia 2500C has never been used in fresh or saltwater. This past year I bought a reel collection from an old Abu Garcia Sales Representative. All the reels have only been held and played with at Fishing Shows. Every reel is clean and do not have any scratches or marks on them. None of these Vintage reels have a reel box that is the reason why they are so inexpensive. Each Abu Garcia Reel is a collectable and these reels are sought after, so buy them while you still have a chance.
